We’ve become aware that fake QR codes have been stuck to some of our pay and display parking machines around the country.

New Code of Practice for Private Parking Firms

The BPA and IPC have introduced a new single Code of Practice, aiming to raise standards across the private parking sector.

Driver throws away parking fine and is promptly fined for littering

A driver who threw a £60 parking ticket out of his window was promptly fined another £75 for littering. The motorist was issued with a penalty charge notice for contravening parking regulations in Ammanford, South Wales, and when a witness saw him fling the ticket into the car park, he was reported to the council.

Disabled Motoring UK calls for action on Blue Badge abuse

One of the most important campaigns run by Disabled Motoring UK (DMUK) is encouraging local authorities to make sure that the Blue Badge Scheme is properly administered and enforced. There are now 2.39 million Blue Badges held in England, which is 4.4% of the population.
